Nexum has a new CEO


Nexum Boğaziçi, established in 2000, is one of the leading IT & Consulting companies in Turkey, providing a broad scope of services with its experienced team. Within the last 8 years, nexum bogazici became a successful and well-known brand. Serving to the top companies in Turkey, Nexum also offers offshore development to international customers. According to Deloitte, Nexum is among the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the country for three consecutive years, and ranked as 8th company among software exporters in 2008.

After 8 exciting  years in which Dr. Behrendt managed the company, he decided to focus more on his native background – providing management consulting services in the areas of accounting, finance, and restructuring to leading Turkish and International companies. For this purpose, nexum has opened a new group of services under the distinctive brand BIC Behrendt International Consulting.

In order to concentrate fully on the management consulting services, Dr. Behrendt handed over the management of nexum bogazici to nexum’s longest-serving employee and long-term partner, Emre Gürül. Gürül, starting in nexum in 2000 even before the first office was established, worked in several positions, covering the areas of project management, account management, sales management, business development, and finally company management, and making him the natural choice for being the successor of Dr. Behrendt.

With immediate effect, Emre Gürül  is the new CEO of nexum bogazici, whereas Dr. Behrendt continues his work as main shareholder and Chairman of the management board.
